Just ordered a Ford Terrier

I've been looking at T5s for a while but none of them floated my boat. I'd considered building my own but simply don't have the time. We saw a Ford Terrier exhibited at CarFest North and loved it. Gone for the Bianco in white. I was quite impressed how it drove, seemed more modern than the VWs.

Wellhouse Leisure who are the manufacturers have said I can go and watch it being built and take pics. Sadly this won't be until around March next year.

The new torneo is a nice looking van..

However the layout in these types of vans, regardless of the vehicle manufacture always leaves me disappointed. There is ample room to fit much more and convert it similar to the autohomes frontier from the late 80's. Unless of course its only meant to be a day van... but if its just for the day, why does it have a bed?

Heres a autohomes frontier.

We looked at most of the T5 conversions but the they didn't really leave room for the dogs when the bed was made. The beds in them are quite narrow too whereas in the Terrier the bed is a good width and there's plenty of room for the dogs with it made. You can have the bed made and still use the kitchen which is great in such a small van.

I wanted something we could use as a day van and a weekend van for going to Silverstone etc.
