Hi I understand Sikaflex is the best sealant to get.
What number do I need Sikaflex 221 or 512?

I used 512 to stick my solar panel to roof... I also used it to seal my skylights and fill a few rust holes in the bodywork. Sanded it and painted it after it cured... Can take a while to cure in cold weather, when I stucfk the solar panel, i gave it a week to fully set, but I was just being over cautious I think

Clean mounting spot with white spirit and if its fiberglass transit roof, best to remove the paint..

Also the black all purpose sikaflex is great as well, same stuff they use to mount windscreens. I use the whitespirit on finger to spread it around easily and make things tidy.

yup, can be painted and sanded too.
