Postby sonic-1 » Fri Dec 19, 2014 5:59 pm

i have a mk6 swb low roof its my main vehicle its got three seats properly fitted in back and i have fitted window on slide door , and will be fitting one on other side to when i can be bothered , i do use it for work but its main job is to take kids to bmx racing with room for bikes in back
i was wondering if its worth reclassifying it as mpv , what is best for road tax and insurance ?????

I hear a van with a window in the back and up to 7 seats inc driver is classified as a van with window or summit similar and does not benefit from MPV class tax reductions

I'm sure I read somewhere that the tax is higher.
