How do I install a hook-up socket under the bonnet?

Postby Deep sea divers » Mon Jun 15, 2015 12:31 pm

I have a Transit Tourneo and I want to install a hook-up socket under the bonnet for campsite use with out the need to cut any holes on her and was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on running the cable through the bulkhead before I start randomly stripping out the insulation etc? Where is the best/easiest place to go through and are there any other things I need to consider? Many thanks in advance! Melissa

Good point! It's a 2010 Tourneo (not connect it's full size 'limited') Thanks!

There's a few unused grommets in the bulkhead at the passenger side, go through one of them

Thanks Ake, There is so much insulation it's hard to tell so at least I know which side to start now! :-) Much appreciated!
