Lock and unlock rear doors without remote or key?

For my mk 6 converted camper I'd like a way to open the locks on the rear door without fumbling about for the remote. Is there a wire I could put a switch on that will pop them open for me?

am I missing something here? if you're inside the van you can open it with the handle, so are you looking for a switch (presumably in the cab) to unlock the back door, but if you're in the cab then the central locking is unlocked and the door will open, no?

yeah while in the back i want to be able unlock the side door, with a switch. using the door handles in the cab area wont work all the time as i have a bunk across the front seats so cant reach over whoever is sleeping there

There should be a twist knob on the rear edge of the side door to lock/unlock the door

Get one from a scrappiest and fit it!
The door will have the hole for it already

5 quid solenoid (like for car C/locking and a double pole double throw centre off switch.... will allow you to lock/unlock from the inside
