Thank goodness we had fibreglass roofs back in the good old days

I haven't put any further insulation over the thermoliner, just ply lined and carpeted it all,

O.k. thanks'. I will be doing the same, minus the carpet covering the ply (looks good by the way).

Yes, fiberglass, much easier to repair and no metal worm!
