eberspacher issue

will try and make the story short, purchased a heater on ebay, advertised as new, and looks it! advertised a s could be used for campre vans etc etc... so purchased it for inlaws van whose heater had completely gone,,the purchased one is from a ford galaxy.. has a slightly different wiring, mainly in it has 2 plugs on it..now it has gone to the camper shop to be fitted and they are having issues in that they cant get a feed into it? they think it is specific to ford and needs a digital signal or something?? any ideas???http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231784620365? ... real stumped now as seller is saying it will work, can someone simply say weather it will or wont work without galaxy ecu? thanks

As far as I know Ford do indeed have there own Eberspacher connections, see mine

I used one with no problems. I just lopped the connectors off and used crimps. Wiring digram here:
