question about long term storage

Postby Airthies » Sun Feb 07, 2016 11:55 pm

Hi peoples

We're looking at storing our van for about a year or more (length depends on a lot of things).

We currently have a Mk7 ex crew mess van but were planning on being away and would like to store the vehicle till we get back, one option that came to mind was caravan/camper storage places that you leave your van pay some cash and its looked after and secure while your away, and even prep'd for us getting back if required?

What sort of things are worth doing prior to storage for long term?

Is there anywhere anyone can recommend around the central Scotland area?

Basically any advice would be greatly received.

cheers

Might pay to jack her up and put on blocks to preserve the tyres.
