Hook up lead position ??

Not a camper van , a works van but I am fitting a hook up lead to the van for my new ups inverter.

Any good ideas where to fit the hook up point as unlike the lead it doesn't have a cover to protect it from the elements.

plug under the passenger seat and put the extension lead on the cab floor
then run the lead across the street and fifty metres down the road to the customers gaff

So have you used a standard plug or a blue one like on a caravan.

the arsewash 1000 had a blue plug and every couple of months it would melt sothe arsewash 2000 and 3000 have normal house plugs on them no problems ever that end now
