Mileage of base vehicle

Postby rareboy » Sun Jun 05, 2016 6:19 pm

Hi

I am looking at my next campervan project. Last time I converted a LWB crewvan - This time round I want to go for a jumbo for the base vehicle. I'm looking at owning it for maybe 10 years so don't want a van over 5 or 6 years old.

I had been limiting myself to 100,000 miles in looking around but I'm not sure how much mileage matters when I will probably only add around 5k to it each year.

Does anyone have any advice on how to consider the mileage? The cost of the vans seems to reduce a lot after 100,000

Thanks for any help

Service history, I have said it before and I'll say it again there's not such thing as an unreliable engine just unreliable owners. N
