Transit Windows

Postby thepiper55 » Wed Jan 04, 2017 3:50 am

Hi All
I have a 2013 High Roof MWB transit.
At the minute i am looking to order the bonded windows privacy glass for the rear doors
I am living in Eire, but i am in contact with a UK distributor .

Just worried that the wrong size windows would come to me.
My question is Say from 2000 up to 13 are the window panels the same on a LWB MWB SWB.
Nearly all the SWB are low Roofs would the panels be different on the back doors for these

The site i am dealing with it just states SWB nothing about roof heights.
But the guy i spoke to was confident they have the windows.
Surely if i give him the year, roof height, and base should not be any confusion.
I did measure the panels.
The bottom of the panel going across the door was 734 cm , the top of the panel going across was 712cm and the height top to bottom was 636 cm .
Hope to hear back to put me at ease
Thanks again

Think you'll find the windows will be the same
Don't think roof height is a factor.
Not sure about the back doors though.
a quick check online, they look the same to me

I had front side windows and rear door windows fitted to my SWB medium roof Mk7 a couple of months ago. The window height is the same regardless of roof height.

The only thing that varies is the side window length between short, medium and long wheelbase versions. Rear door windows are the same regardless of wheelbase or roof height.
