Postby B12TY B » Sun Jan 16, 2022 5:49 pm

Hi guys, you all good?
Anyone fitted a f65s or f80s onto a mk8 L3 H2?
Or know if it can be fitted?
Cheers

I have a Fiamma not sure of the number but my van is a l4 h3 and it is a long one it goes from the rear of the van and is longer then the roof it was fitted by John Cooper Ltd Scunthorpe it was supplied with two mountings bolted to the roof but with it been long they ordered a extra one to fit in the middle they had to reinforce the inside of the roof to stop it twisting .

Fitted by John Coopers in Scunthorpe a couple of weeks ago. Using standard brackets, the awning has a slight curve but still protrudes away from the body a little at the front. Looks great and really transforms the bus into what looks like a camper van.. JC advises me that he has fitted quite a few to mk8’s same as this without any problems.

Hi
Rob62

Just looking at your photos.

did you fit those windows. The sliding one looks really good.
I would like to know the supplier / fitter / maker if possible.

Regards

Brian

Hi Brian,

It’s a 460 minibus, the windows were fitted by Ford :D I wish I could take the credit...

Cheers
Rob.

Hi B12TY B, I know this thread has been quiet for a few months but did you find a solution in the end? Im in the same boat - L3 H2 and all of the solutions Ive seen so far appear to be for H3 variants that have the added height above the sliding door. I did see a picture of someone who had bespoke brackets made that went in the pre-threaded roof rack holes but thats about the only ones Ive seen for H2's. Would be interested to hear what you did or found out.

It may be worth ringing John Cooper at Scunthorpe he’s likely to know if it’s possible on a h2
