L3 h3 how much dodo sound deadn & thermal lining

Postby Fazerdenzil » Sun May 25, 2025 12:38 am

Hi all. Im converting my t350 l3 h3 2014. I was looking at this
large van kit from Dodo to line the van. Does anyone please know if this is enough or will i need more? Anyone please have any tips on using this stuff & how much recycled insulation i will need to go on top? I know there's vids on
youtube but they don't say how much they've used!
Many thanks in advance.

Never bothered with it I just spray waxoil on the panels and recycled plastic bottle insulation on my mk6 I had to remove a panel to change a led marker light I’d sealed and bolted in after 8 years and it was like new .
Done this on 8 vans that I use all year round on car rallies and only had to use the night heater once when in bed when I woke up cold due to wind chill on top of hill in the Scottish Borders warmed the van up for 5 minutes and back to sleep

IMHO forget the sound deadening pads, make sure the panel supports are glued to the panels (if not sika them) and use stick on closed cell foam insulation 6mm+ does the same thing, add plastic bottle insu as needed.
