If anyone has access to a Maccess card..... They are doing 2000w 'Ring' power inverters for £140, I fitted one in my mates £32000 motorhome(yes I did say £32000  , they sold the house and hit the road!) so they didnt have to be near a hook-up, it runs the microwave, flat panel tv,VHS video recorder, and PC for up to 8hrs.

The heating and fridge run off gas though so that helps.

They did have a Transit before they sold the house, the coachbuilt one...whatever it was called, I spent days and days of my life sorting that bugger out(welding spring hangers, swapping axles, converting to diesel etc) only for them to decide it wasnt big enough! so they bought a 30ft Bessecarr instead, not working on that bugger(thats if they ever get back to this country that is).

Hi all.
i fit wind genorators and photo panels for a living and i buy and fit invertors all over the place. if you go to a company called marlec who are based in france they do a good range of invs and so far i cant find anyone to beat them on price, most of there stuff is "uncased" but even with the cost of sokets and housing they are still dead cheap.

Why pay for electricity when you can get it for free?!?
