What Size Lights & How Many

Can anyone give me an idea as to how many lights & size, type etc, Im going to need?
or what you recommened

Its a low roof swb, with no windows, and a full bulkhead, (also used as work van)

Im not using the ford installed ones,

I ve seen some led strip lights with 9 leds in, anyone used this type, was thinking of one each end, or I was thinking of 4 10w lights in each corner

I dont cook in the van or anything like that, but would like to be able to read,

LED's are great as you don't have to worry about the battery.
In the loadspaces of my van and box trailer I have LED tubes. You get kits of 2x3ft & 2x4ft, they're sold as undercar, so durable and waterproof all you have to do is cable tie them onto the roof beams.
Also in the sleeper cab area of my van I have 2x2ft & 2x4ft flexible self adhesive LED tape. This is cheaper, but doesn't seem quite as bright (the individual LEDs are tiny) and you need a flat smooth surface to stick it on.

Might need a spot over where you're reading though aswell

Cheers for the info on lights sc_bk,

gone down the Led route as you suggested,
got some wedge shaped 12volt halogen fittings from b & q that will fit neatly & out the way and not get knocked about when using as a work van

then got some g4 LED bulbs from e bay, well one to try, going to order more later this week as there really bright 9 leds 80 odd lums per bulb, day light white jobs BUT 9 quid a pop ouch
