Moving Abroad.. Leisure Batteries Required Please :-)

Postby ablaze79 » Wed Jul 15, 2009 9:42 am

Greetings Mortal..
I hope to move into my Transit Camper Bus in the not too distant future and head off to the continent.
I will not be travelling with lots of money, so will not be frequenting campsites all that often.
I hope to be as self suffcient as possible and in order to do this, will require a healthy power source.
I've already aquired a 13Watt Solar Panel & single leisure battery, but for the long run, could definatly do acouple more!!
I live down south on the devon cornwall border, so if there's any of you out there who have one knocking about that you no longer need and would like to donate or cheaply sell, it would be GREATLY appreciated.
Ohh, and if by some miricle sombody has a Honda EU10i/EU20i generator, no longer required, I'd be well sorted ;-)

Thanks a million!

Evening all! :-)
Well, the name Apollo was just a follow on of Greek names in the family, I have an older brother called Anteros and an older sister called Aphrodite. I've never had a problem with my name, I've worked in sales for many years and with a name like mine people tend never to forget it, means I've got to be on best behaviour at all times mind!!
With regards to the not from round here, well I pretty much am!! :-)
I'm half Cornish, dads side and half german mums side. Grew up in cornwall, but lived 4 years abroad from 13 onward.
Now live just outside Launceston, so still local and CORNISH ;-)

There we family lesson over!
So, has nobody got a leisure battery they'd like to donate??!!!

Had the cambelt, water pump, clutch changed & a full service today on my van today, only for the mechanic to find that the gearbox needs replacing too :o :o :o
it's an MT75 off a 1996 RWD 2.5TD transit... Anybody in Cornwall got one that's not naff??!!

Regards
