pop-top roof

Postby Fifi » Sat Aug 01, 2009 10:45 pm

I am in the process of converting our 1998 SWB Transit 80 to a campervan. We have had it since new & it only has 50,000 on the clock so has a lot of life in it yet! 2 problems - it doesn't have power steering - is it possible to have it put in. Also, as it is a low top we are looking to have a pop-top roof put on it but I have exhausted the internet and can't find anything for a 'tranny' only VW & Westy's! Anyone suggestions please. Fifi :)

Power steering can be retrofitted from any mk5 (smiley) van, 5 or 6 stud wheels :) (petrol is different from diesel though)

There are pop tops for mk3/4/5 vans, but extremely rare :(
