Is She worth it ?

Postby Burgman » Wed Aug 05, 2009 7:59 am

After the difficulty of removing the cupboards & floor here's a few rear end pic's of the '87 camper I just bought, paying top dollar from a dealer and being told there's just a few holes in the rear panel that may need attention !

more pic's to follow of ............front shocker top mounts, front cross member, front 'spring hanger's '.

I found a link on this forum guiding me to the VOSA MOT history site which made interesting reading, passed the MOT only two years ago on what I'm repairinng now, expanding foam filled chassis, out riggers etc.....

I got to keep telling my self it will be as good if not better than original.

back to the MIG...................

Good work! All MK3's rot out on the rear arches and springhangers but the chassis tend to stay in better shape overall than anything later so worth it I reckon! :D
My Mk5 was biodegradable and disintegrated with time.
