Heat from 3way fridge

Postby Neilg7777 » Wed Sep 05, 2012 10:00 pm

Hi I am fitting my fridge and have boxed it in and cut the 2 holes in the van for air. My question is above the top vent I have used wood to stop the heat rising and forcing it out of the vent but how hot does the air get, will it do any damage to the wood. I am thinking of putting the silver tape which is used for heating over the wood to protect it or is there no point
Thanks Neil

It won't cause any problem, I did the same in my last van :)
