carpet egdin to hide raggy bits is it possible

Providing you have used a brand new stanley blade and changed it very regularly, you shouldn't have any raggy edges.
However, if you have made it so the edges meet on a corner, you may find something in your local B&Q or similar to cover it.

Best use a synchronized binding tape - what you see on car mat edging or have the edges whipped, send us a picture and I will point you in the right direction
