sleeping crossways?

I have a 5'9" double which was described as a 6'+ single on the reregistering (measured from corner to corner) AK did the same and his bed is high up so even smaller than mine.

yeah I can't see this being a problem really. I can't see somone from VOSA crawling over your bed with a measuring tape lol but I may be wrong

We have a couple of small childrens mattresses in our van 6'0" x 2'6" lengthwise as seats /beds either side. I've never tried to see if they will squash in widthways across the van. The mattresses are only £29.00 ea free post

I have my bed crossways although we are both only 5-6, so we don't have a problem. It is a pain making it up, but if we are going out when on a campsite, we do it before we go out for the night. I've had no problems with the dvla having it converted. Just sent plenty of pictures when applying.

We have crossways bed, I think it measures 5'10 overall and it's a Autocamper conversion! And leave it made up most of time
