I know, I'm used to things being a little ermm "sh1te, I haven't done/got X" but thought I was cutting it close with getting a porch awning for caravan at the beginning of this month from fleabay lol

In the end I just dragged the cover over the roof & pegged it down on the other side. It worked really well (except for someone nicking two of my guy ropes!).

The wind wasn't particularly strong, just a bit blustery; even so, I don't think any method of clamping it to the gutter would have been successful!

Looks good. We did the same with our tarp, worked a treat and kept us all dry during a torrential downpour. Just got 3m of awning rail but need some new tarp/canvas as one of our drunk friends fell into the guy ropes and ripped the metal rings out .... It's a project in slow progress :roll:
