..... It looks like you've have some great adventures and you cant beat an OS map, I absolutley love them.
Just do it as soon as you can .....
We went for a jumbo simply for the room to have a fixed double bed AND space underneath for the 5 hounds ....access from the back for when they are soaking after hooning about on the beach AND then through another door into the living area when they have dried off ...
We have omitted a fixed toilet AND cooker/sink as we went for split charge/solar/inverter/microwave/electric kettle/toaster/slow cooker instead ...to give us most room and flexible cooking.
Scotland is fantastic wild camping wise BUT so is Derbyshire (on my doorstep)North Wales and Yorkshire with care in choosing spots ...love some camp sites too BUT only the nice quiet ones .
Follow the roads to the sea on the OS map and look for small roads with little habitation around and you'll find some gems .
