My last van was a T reg, so this is my upgrade!! The only rust I had problems with was wheel arch on the T, but this one has some serious rust issues all over above head height! I have already had to fix a leak!

OK so work has been slow, busy time of year at work. I have booked the Euro Tunnel this week for my Summer Holiday so work has to go in to overdrive as i still have no bed or kitchen area, which i guess are the basics.

So ive managed to do a little including

All the wiring
Image

Zig unit temporarily fitted
Image
Image

Insulation in the space above the cab
Image

using this stuff and spray on glue, which is fantastic stuff
Image

and ive started to put in the roof insulation

I have bought a mushroom vent, a sky light and a calorifier and finnally after a long wait due to the plastic molding company going bust my shower tray has arrived. Lots of work to do now, and still a little bit of money to spend on wood and carpet etc. but i hope to have some basics done before i go away.

Anyone got any illustration for how the pipework fits together for a calorifier on a MK6

hmmmm cant think but I must remember to thank whoever it was for the idea, and inspiration to make it work, I just hope mine does not collapse as at the moment it has had to have a leg on one end till the wood burner surround goes in, but im a long way off that yet!

Thanks camperconvert

Got the flush brackets, but I have nothing to attach it too yet at the other end. I was going to have it going in to the metal support at the rear of the sliding door, but it does not quite reach there. I am looking on the positive side, when I eventually get a wood burner I wont burn my feet on it in the middle of the night!
