I made a small woodburner out of a pub gas bottle and a scaffold pipe for a chimney it is fitted in a swb standard size van there is a picture of it somewhere on the forum under swb day van. It has been fantastic and i have been working away for the last two weeks staying in the van i dont think i would have managed without it.Cheers Simon.

got a woodburner in my transit luton, also had one in a lwb tranny.www.thefireweaver and this one from him gives free electrickery, 12v 20 watts. so heat and power for a few scraps of wood.A burner gives you dry heat, unlike a gas fire,so helps stop condensation.sit in armchair, next to fire, side door open and fishing rod out and a brew on stove.

I made one out of a gas bottle for use outside the van boil a pan of water on the top,but got thinking how i could use it inside as well,so i got 4 pieces of galvernised steel which stand round the stove, smoke goes up a flue pipe wiyh a 90 degree bend on then another 90 degree bend and then out of a side window.i only use it when parked up as it all dismantles brilliant i also have a recliner armchair in the van ,real comfort if i could figure out how to put photos on i would.
cheers Eddie

The heat of combustion (ΔHc0) is the energy released as heat when a compound undergoes complete combustion with oxygen under standard conditions. The chemical reaction is typically a hydrocarbon reacting with oxygen to form carbon dioxide, water and heat.

He's saying burning wood, or pretty much anything, gives off water vapour. The reason you don't seem to get as much condensation with a wood burning stove is probably because of the 'draft' taking the smoke and water vapour up the chimney. Ventilation does make a big difference.
