This is exactly what I've been looking for. I've been looking at VW T4/5 projects (I'm sure I've just sworn on this forum!) but they're so expensive. The tranny is much more my vehicle- would love to make a ST sport lookalike. Just wondering what's next on your list?

Unfortunatley the next thing on my list is a steering rack end, it rained yesterday for the first time in ages, slippy roads and slightly too enthusiastic driving led to me heading wheel first into the side of a wagon, lucky there wasn't any more damage, you can't even tell I've crashed at first glance!

Anyway, had it recovered in a most dangerous fashion haha,

Doh!! Funny enough I've just had my first visit to the body shop after giving the wife's Ka a nasty scrape. First quote was £350 cash. don't think I'll get it any cheaper.

What do you think of the new connect double cab? Would love that as a project :D

Looking forward to seeing more pics...I'll pass on the steering rack repairs though!

Oh no! I'm sure there's a moral to your tale of woe... Something about greasy roads..... Hope you get her fixed soon
