It actually wasn't that far from Inverness, we had 3 nights away for hogmany: Glen Affric, Ballater, then that last night when we woke up to 3" of snow

Where about in Ballater did ya stay??? Oh thats right my field!!! It was a cracking night and a great way to see in the new year sitting round the fire. It was actually warm for end of Dec beginning of Jan!! :wink:

Allways wanted to park up somewhere near applecross then get up really early and watch the sun rise over the mountains. im hoping to head up sometime this summer......why go abroad when there is scotland!!

Love to do a trip up there myself but i`d have to take alone out just for the cost of fuel in my Mk1, maybe one year when i`ve fitted a modern engine :lol:

Are any good places to camp near Ben Nevis ( main path ), i`m hoping to go up at easter with my lad
