For some reason Ding I missed your last few posts.....not like me at all I reckon to keep an eye on the board everyday.

Anyway, great going mate, really looking forward to seeing this in the flesh at the Stockyard.

I managed to get some cushions for a tenner, see the post, so I'm not in any real need for the foam pal but thanks for thinking of me.

thanks, always been a outdoor person, wild camped for years, proper in a forest sleeping in a hammock with just a tarp for cover, but wanted more of the finer things in life while camping, thats when the camper idea was born, now we have running water that I don't have to lug about, a cooker I don't have to be on my knees to use, bedding that isn't always damp, and a tv, and when it rains I don't have to worry about it getting in

I know what ya mean. most of my camping was done with whatever I can strap to the back of the bike but without the Mrs and in good weather :D Being well fed, warm and dry is a definate bonus
When I had my old van we camped all year round, and always wild camped, there's no way I could use a tent during the Scottish winter  and a caravan would have blown away :!:
The van also gives much more access than towing a caravan as we often follow forestry roads to find really great camping spots that you'd never get to with a caravan.
Wild camping in a van during winter can be just as enjoyable as camping in summer, you'd love it mate :D

just a small update, not really much further than last time really, a few little things here and there, but we have now gone digital  , bought a newer tv, no more 5" b&w, a massive 10" colour with remote control for the princely sum of £30, also got one of the digi free view things that just fit in the scart socket for £25, so can watch dave in the van now   .
plus we're gone solar with a shed light kit from netto's £8.99, and made a bed up to go over the front seats out of an old gazebo and old camp bed, works pretty well for the youngest to sleep on.
will get piccys up as soon as I get them off my phone

Hiya folk back after a short break, thanks to my internet dongle knackering up  , anyhoo done a few more things to the old girl, moved the on board water nearer the rear doors( was a bit of a pain lugging the waste water through the back  ), fitted the bull bars and fitted some angel eye spots on, colour coded the mirrors(not shown in the photo's as I've only done it today), fitted some chrome sexy lady's on the bonnet( well saw them in the shop and had to buy them lol )
