Hello,
Thought I best give everyone an update as I havent posted anything since October. Sorry!
Basically, I have not been able to do very much simply due to work. I dont know where the last four months have gone... its a blurr. And to top it all, I'm not well at the moment either but fingers crossed in the next few months I will be back on the project and steaming ahead.
I nearly lost faith completly in continuing the project around christmas time and even thought about scrapping the whole idea (selling all the parts/scrapping the van etc.) but thankfully, I gave myself a big proverbial "slap"

and came to my senses. I've come too far and spent too much time and money... I'm no quitter. As soon as I'm able I hope to be tackling my job list:
Fit New brake lines (Front + Rear) / Fit New hand brake cable / Fit Rear brake shoes (Both sides) / Fit Front Flexi Brake Pipes / Fit OS rear leaf spring (centre leaf broken) / Fit New rear shockers (Both) / Fit Rear Bumper / Fit Rear Step / Fit Tow bar / Fit Front Drop link Bars / Fit Entire Exhaust System I have also decided not to fit the over cab section, as my plans have changed regarding it, so i will simply be selling it as I'm sure someone will want it for their own project. If your not sure what i mean by the over cab section, have a look at the photos below as pictures nearly always explain things better than I ever can.
Here's a simple pic of the front of my standard high roof.
Here's a pic of an over cab unit taken from a transit herald.
And here is a pic of the roof section that i have before It was cut off in one complete unit.I was originally going to cut away the front wedge part of the standard high roof, (See my Hi Roof Modifications post)
modify the cab section to the right width, and basically fit it onto the front of the van to transform the whole look and userbility (extra sleeping area) of my build. But I will get around to listing this unit at some point soon as I'm sure someone will think, hey I fancy doing that!
Anyway... I'm still on with the project in my mind, if not in my body at the moment
Chris.
