once you go fast... stainless gets 'polished' by the drill bit and is pretty impossible to drill through !

tiny pilot hole always helps too !

I like the grill insert in black 8)
I would try black under the headlights as well,
cos the headlights look closer to black than white.

I got the bubble insulation from Wickes, and it came with a number of sticky pads.
However in that pic, david_1, the underseal, that I'd sprayed inside the panels was still tacky and held it in place very well :D
I used the wee sticky pads though, when I attached it to the roof areas,
and have found them to work well, provided the surface was clean and dry,
and the pads pressed on firmly :wink:

The area above the cab in this photo was really dripping with condensation at times during my build, coz I'd left that bit till later.
I'm really impressed with the difference, and so far 98% of the pads have stayed on :D
