Dan the old fella has had some bonded windows fitter to his MK6 and the sliding one has some drainage holes in it not noticed any on the fixed side, but not looked to hard as its usually parked close to the neighbours motor.

Dan,
we have the bonded ones see avitar, we dont or havnt had any problems with condensation except for the windscreen sometimes mists up when the cooker is on but we have a mushroom vent and a mpk 280 vent on the roof which are permanent vents and we have wind deflectors on the front doors and leave the window open and inch or so, no rain or hands can get in coz of the deflectors,
i like the look of the bonded ones trying to keep the original look, each to there own i say,

Hi Dan - we get a bit of condensation however it's not really a problem however in hindsight we should have got one of them with a sliding opening section in it. We also have a roof vent which we have open at night (weather permitting)
I think bonded windows look much nicer :-)

Excellent work there fella. I'd be happy if mine looked half as good when finished.

just like to say what a fantastic job you've done on your van it looks spot on.

i've just picked up my van a mk6 swb mid roof and was wondering if you please can you let me know how you done the carpet lining, did you board the van first and glue it on in situe, or carpet the shaped panels and then fit them,if so how did you fix the panels to the van.thanks rick

Hi there - we made the wood panels to size, carpeted them (LOADS of spray glue required!) and then attached them to the van. We also carpeted the metal work that would not be covered by the panelling and the rear and side doors (which we did by removing them). It was a bit of a nightmare to carpet the metal work to be honest as it's all curved!
The reason we carpeted the boards at then attached them was incase we needed to get to any of the wiring at a later date as no we can just remove the required board instead of having to rip all the carpet off.
