Nah, way too much trouble to do that, but he's like an elephant, remembers stuff for years! Apart from what day of the week it is, what I've asked him to do.....lol. No worries jono, it's all good

Not much as happend. Put a battery on and took the fuel pump off to manually pump fuel up, bolted it back on and started after a few turns .
Been looking at seats to replace to worn and tired drivers seat and single passenger seat. Really wanted a seat that would swivel or fold down then i could lay on a bunk without having to make up the bed for a cheeky afternoon snooze. Thought about a connect passenger seat mounted on mk6/7 battery box and matching drivers seat but then i really wanted to seat 3 up front.
Then i started looking at the dark side of ebay and bought a vw T4 double passenger seat that folds flat and now i think ive found a matching drivers seat. Ill take head rests off and put some basic seat covers on for now but the method in my madness is i should of gained a fair bit of storage under the seats.
The more i look the more i want and need to do.
Fit seats.
Get curtains done and fitted to back of cab and sleeper over cab so all curtains match.
Change failing alternator for a bigger one.
Get me dad to make another battery tray for drivers side for leasure battery.
Take heater out and try flushing matrix again.

Well doned Wait, sounding very cool, I have seen the smaller 2 seater on a swivel base but thought there wouldn't be space to turn. Cheeky naps can always be had in the top bunk, I tend to chuck a couple of seat cushions on the floor between ;)

Thanks jono. ive seen the passenger seats that swivel on ebay but i didnt think there was enough room to turn in a new transit never mind a mk1. Im trying to find time to go and pick up drivers seat.

Decided to get the camper out and go to a local show.
Put the seats back in after a trial fit of the vw seats.
Battery on, some petrol in, road tax and brought it home for quick clean. Couple of lights not working so change to some leds i got to try. Image

Been thinking i could do with some propper mirror s on the camper so im having a mock up with a old landrover mirror.
Mirror seems to be in right place but i need a arm that will fasten under the luton on the camper but there dosent seem to be anywhere round here where i could look and measure mirrors, i can only look at bike, tractor, plant etc on ebay.
Anyone else changed their mirrors?
