first time i saw this too,excellent conversion,pity you had to sell,has your 'other half' started another yet?

Very nicely done, a really individual conversion, gorgeous too! Image

I like your thinking on the insulation, water and interior heating.

Rather than leave a couple of gas rings on, perhaps try a stove top heater. I bought one after reading a positive review of them on the Small Motorhome Camping Forum. They're simple (no moving parts) light, small and cheap at £9:95 plus P&P.

You can have showers and 'on tap' hot water by using one of these, just pour in the hot water and you're away! This one cost me £21:99 from Amazon, with free delivery, though similar types and other sizes are on eBay from £10. It also useful for cleaning off gear before loading in the van, and it can be used without liquid as a 'airline' blow gun.

very nice work im using the same layout but with a pull out bed for the kids above the drivers passenger seats or possibly at the rear across the van with a redused height wardrobe.mines a lwb hitop
