New member-new transit req

Postby JOHNBOY42 » Mon Sep 03, 2012 8:07 pm

Hello guys/gals, I am a new member and would like your expert opinions one something I am about to embark on...here goes

I am now in a good financial situation as the mortgage paid off/kids left home and was really interested in getting a late reg transit camper van but the prices are really high , what I would like to do is buy a new/very nearly new transit medium or maybe high top and kit it out myself as a project throughout the winter months ready for next spring....

Where is the best place to go for a decent price , what will be the best model for this conversion, will the conversion affect my warranty...

Thanks in advance, John

Transit sales on here will give you a great deal on a new one. The warranty will be okay as long as the guidelines in the BEMM are carefully followed, it can be downloaded from www.etis.ford.com
Fwd are better for converting because they have a lower load floor

I think ideally you want something like a 140 ps front wheel drive 350, long wheel base, high roof, in either Trend or Limited Spec
2024 Ford Transit Custom 300S Active 170ps Auto
2013 Ford Fiesta Van 95ps
If she knew what she wants
