fridge cooling fan ?

i having cooling problems and with the great internet i found putting a pc fan behind the fridge to use as extra cooling
but i dont wont it to be on all the time and dont wont to be turning it on and off
is there a temp thingy i can wire in if what it is it ive been scratching me head and cant come u with it

It will tend to be warmer air during the day so i would suggest a 5w or 10w solar panel just wired to the fan will more or less auto adjust - fit and forget and costs nowt to run- a mono crystalline( these should run your fan even when cloudy) solid glass one is a 20 pound note on fleabay and a lightweight semi-flexible monocrystalline polyurethaned direct to roof or taped to window/side of van about 30-40 quid. You could also use it for battery maintenance when parked at home as no controller is needed up to 10w (25 quid) for the batteries we use. eg;

where can i find a timer that will come on for a while then go off for a while and so on must be 12 volt
