choice of bonded side windows ?

Postby ajpmsport » Wed Jan 09, 2013 9:31 pm

I would like to have some bonded side windows for a lwb, but its getting complicated. I really wanted a side opening vent with a privacey tint.
I was told today they do not make them for a long wheel base, i can only get a top vent in a green tint.
They make them for a swb only. So i am concluding that the sliding door and the panel opposite are different sizes.
Can a swb window be fitted to a lwb panel without it looking odd ? :!:
And i guess a green tint will be the same as the front side windows ?
Cheers.

Ipersonally think it won't look too odd. My LWB bondeds use the whole of the panel. There is also the thought you will need to make the cut out, as on the inside all you need to do is run your jig saw round the inner rim of the panel. Once you are going smaller, you'll need to have it marked out bang on. But surely do-able?

What looks odd to one person will look awesome to another.....case of readers wives or the fake looking models.

Id say it would look fine..and for the green top tint, whats wrong with tinting that yourself.?

i have a swb with a window behind drivers side, i'll measure it up if you want and then just make a black template to stick to your van to see how it will look, just a thought! :)
