networkrail clarks jobby

Postby duc » Wed Mar 27, 2013 12:50 pm

hi
i`ve been busy away over the winter getting this as i want it
but now is the time to start on my biggest fear of the project, the ELECTRICS
i have removed the espachersink and water heater but left everything else wired it was.
my plan is to use the 2 rear worklamps wiring of the van for any power needs that end, at the moment
the only essential power needed at the back is for a small 14l submersible pump for the sink .is this ok and do i need to reduce the fuse size for it?
the other worklamp power supply will be used for something but not sure what yet.
Another question
before i bite the bullet and buy 2 new leisure batteries i have ordered a Numax "Connect and Forget" Battery Charger 12V 10AH to try and recharge the ones already installed ,can i charge them at the same time by connecting to the live on 1 battery and the neg on the other or do i need to charge each 1 separately ?
1 more thing the rear door courtacy lights are not working i`d check their fuse if i could find the bloody thing any idea where it is
any info will be gratefully received cheers

If the 2 leisure batteries are connected to each other in parallel then you will just need to connect to the positive and negative of one battery and they should both charge simultaneously (assuming the charger has enough output, otherwise disconnect the batteries from each other and charge them individually). If they are connected in series then you will have to charge them individually (they will be running at 24 volt if in series). I imagine they are connected in parallel, but it is important to check.
