My Van Conversion! (Pics!)

Postby Frosty3006 » Thu Apr 17, 2014 8:40 pm

Hi guys, heres a few pictures of my van. Its a 52 plate SWB, 150k. Picked it up a couple of months ago and have been a busy boy!

Its had a fair bit of mechanical work done, although the bloody gear selector still plays up, 1st is stiff as hell.

Insulated, ply lined, carpeted, fitted a window and MPK 5 way vent. Built an L shaped bed/seating that extends out, 3 inch foam which I then covered in grey vinyl. Leisure battery under drivers seat, with a heavy duty split charge, 12v sockets and lighting and mains charger.
Ikea base unit, cut and fitted around the wheel arche, along with a stove and water carrier. Since taking the pictures I have now completed the kitchen unit with a hinged top and push style catches.

Nice job! Was it a hard job to do the rood vent. I want to do this to mine but keep putting it off.
