Hi,
Picked up my camper from the garage last week and the mechanic was quite critical of the leisure battery split charge relay being wired directly to the start battery.
He reckoned it should go via the Can Bus to avoid any problems.
Is that correct (I've not had any problems so far with the current set up)??
EDIT:
The relay kit (bought from a vehicle electrical suppliers) uses a solenoid which he also slated!
