Hi all I'm looking for a windscreen for my van it's a ford transit 1998 lwb the body was made by bedwas in Wales it was a welfare bus so big screen I have converted it into a camper now but got a chip in screen need another one any help please thanks

I suspect that you won't find such a windscreen easy to source (and it won't be cheap).

Best suggestion I can make is to contact

Just a thought but is glass not covered by your insurance? Our old T2 vw van was vandalised and it just cost us £50 excess for the cab windows... Not sure if a chip would be covered but sometimes insurance can cover repairs too. Good luck getting it sorted!

Hi yes insurance will replace but no one can find one at the moment I'm hoping they do before winter sets in it when though mot ok as I took window out and wipers off it passed ok so all good there put it back in just waiting for window to be found now

So it's a dormobile originally? I believe screens are at least £1000 IF you can find one. I suspect you've already done lots of searches on fleabay? Gl
