Hi guys, I have a mk3 auto sleeper flair hi top, does a anyone know the feasibility of swapping the one piece tailgate for two side opening doors

It's possible, but your shell won't have the mounts for the hinges, the rear pillars are different on tailgat vans

Yeh thanks, I realise I will have to make up hinge mounts. It was more the shape of the doors ie is the shape of the rear opening the same on a van with two doors the same as the tailgate model

The shape of the opening is the same. I put a tailgate on my barn door van.

But... its going to be hard work to put the barn doors on, have a look at the shape of the pillars... its not just drilling a few holes. Theres a lot of reinforcing in the pillar for the hinges which would need replicating too...
