DAY/OCCASIONAL CAMPER VAN INSULATION

Postby mtbcol » Thu Mar 12, 2015 9:25 pm

Hi

Planning to convert my transit to the above. I have some rockwool type insulation that has a foil front and back, can I just use this for the walls and ceiling insulation, or will I need some thing extra to keep condensation at bay and stop it going soggy? I plan to cover it with ply walls and thin tongue and groove cladding on the ceiling.

Any advice welcome.

Cheers

Colin.

I used rockwool originally in my van and after 12 months it was soaking at the bottoms of the doors. I do leave wet kit in the van overnight sometimes though

O.k. thanks Shaun, as I feared. I will use the foil bubble wrap.

Colin. :)
