Planning to convert my 2002 t260

Postby jjp2015 » Tue Apr 07, 2015 2:12 pm

HI
My name is Joe, im new to the forum.
Me and a friend are planning a trip to go krakow (poland) in August for a wedding, then head down south finally ending up in Moraira (spain)
I have done this trip a couple times before but we didn't head to Poland, The problem we had was paying around 60 euro a night for hotels and going on tolls that soon added up.
This time round ill be going down in my transit van, witch is currently off the road at the moment.
Its 2002 T260 low roof model i have had since 2013, engine is good currently at 1001k body work is a little shabby but generally surface rust.
I have some ideas how to kit out the back and just need as much advise as possible.

If im having window in the back do i need to inform some one about it ?
also have a bed etc?

Can air-con be fitted to this model ?

I seen a youtube clip of a transit with 200 plus bhp any idea how i can get more bhp on a T260 model

Apologies for the not so good grammar.

many thanks Joe

worked in krakow several times in the 1990's and drove to and prom poland many times , if you do amsterdam and berlin its a straight 19 hrs. plus breaks i love the idea of then dropping down to spain, brilliant stuff a great adventure to do

your right with the general ideas, i will wait to read your postings about it all
