DAY VAN FLOOR.

Postby mtbcol » Thu Apr 09, 2015 9:27 am

Hi

Iv'e just sealed the old srew holes in my van floor where the old ply floor was attached, and painted it with two coats of red oxide primer. I was then going to put down a layer of 3mm laminate flooring underlay before putting down a new ply floor (which I am hoping I will not have to fix down with screws into the van floor again!) I have been offered some carpet tiles, and was thinking about putting them down on top of the underlay before laying the new ply floor on top, what does everyone think? Also, do you think , as long as its a good fit (its a ready made kit) the floor would be o.k. not screwed down? I was thinking of maybe siliconing round the edges to hold it?

Cheers

Colin.
