Hi guys, well its been nearly five years since this build and always meaning to do a video of the finished van, but not been that cleaver with electronics or videoing, I at last had a go and here's the result. Now before picking on the quality first time effort so hope you enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpDEz3rPwYo

I’ve never looked at this thread before was thinking it would be something out of Crocodile Dundee but this is completely the opposite well done cobber it’s amazing.I bet if you tried to register it as a camper van in the U.K. the bloody DVLA would still knock it back and say it was a van with windows.

Hi guys just a couple of pics from latest trip, of 3700 ks to Cowora in Victoria in Ozz. did this over 4 days and free camped along the way had a couple of big day of 800 ks one day and 780 on the way back. Again old smurf did well averaging 8.5 ks per 100. so happy with that, but at $2.30 a litre bit hard on the back pocket a bit. Good thing no problems and old smurf likes that 110 ks an hr and spins over at 2700 rpm. only problem could do with a rocket up its bum passing road trains, ok on the flat, but up hill you got to ring its neck. but at 3550 ks and only 2.4 what can one expect.

Hi all, I thought Id drop in some an update on the latest movement and what's been happening down under. just about to venture off on another excursion to nowhere particular, but in the hope of some peaceful camping and 4x4ing before the maddening rush of kids and Xmas hols. So squeezed the Rav on the racecar trailer and heading west for a few days,
First time old Smurf towing the Rav so could be interesting. so thought I'd chuck a pic or two as might be the last time, Smurf does its duty..
If all goes well future pics might follow. haha
