Camper van conversion companies

Postby Wils303 » Tue Sep 11, 2018 2:13 pm

Hello all,

Im new to the site. I am currently purchasing my first Ford Transit Custom sport panel van. I am looking to get a full camper van conversion. Can anyone recommend a good company ? I have been talking to Wellhouse. They seem to be the market leaders. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Wellhouse won’t be cheap but but with them being the market leader they will hold their resale value when you come to selling it and for the insurance you will have more choice of companies that will insure it as they know what it is

Thank you for the advice. Just drove down to see SC conversions in Plymouth. Really nice guys. Showed me some of their current work, looks good. I will take a look at your recommendation.

We have a Wellhouse Leisure Lux-XL, this our second Wellhouse vehicle, previously we had the Hyundai i800.

Can't speak highly enough of this firm, nothing has been too much trouble, we were even given a mobile no to use outwith hours with any questions/problems

We also got a good deal when part exchanging first vehicle, they also buy your vehicles back, a lot of firms don't do that or else you are offered peanuts.

We've always gone for a well known firm for the resale value, OK you maybe can buy cheaper in the beginning but can lose later on as we found with a Romahome!

Wellhouse also delivered our new vehicle free to Scotland and took away our old one!
