seat bolts

Ive removed the seats from my MK7 transit ( single drivers and double passenger's) the bolts that held these in were really hard to remove and are quite badly rusted, I was wanting to replace but use standard bolt heads instead of the torx heads ( which are well chewed up after struggling to remove) anyone tell me the thread of these please not sure if metric fine or UNF

I couldn't tell you the thread, although I'd be surprised if they're UNF over metric. But they are high tensile bolts, not off-the-shelf, with them being a safety fixing.
