No mate there is a aluminium floor type bolted to the Van's floor that the rails for the seats are connected to, it's only about 1" in depth, looking at my pic it does look high, cheers Paul

I know this is a bit of an old thread but I'm looking at buying the same swivel bases for my MK7 camper. OP, do you think there's enough room for the seats to face each other and a table in the middle?

If you are talking about the doube and the single setup then there is space for a pole and table alright...but no space for more than one persons knees. I just set mine up to see. There is 10 or 11" between the seats only. Maybe the driver seat could be angled slightly forward and the double slightly back. It would be a tight squeeze. Apologies for the dark snaps...curse these short days

Thank you so much for going out of your way to do that! I have 2 single seats but yeah looks like it'll probably be too tight. Back to the drawing board

Hello,

I have a quick question, if you use the passenger double swivel alone (to leaving the drivers seat as normal) do you need to do any work to the handbrake? From what i have read it should be able to turn without fowling the handbrake but it just seems too close in real life.

Cheers

Nope. The double swivel won't hit off the handbrake. Lowering the handbrake was handy in the end. If you have the bracket
