Double cab to van

Postby Darrenfox » Fri Oct 25, 2019 5:33 pm

Hi Guys,

This is my 1st post and not sure if it is in the correct place, sorry if not.

I have a bit of a strange one, I have just purchased a new 2019 custom L2H1 double cab, and I have made a mistake, it is to small to work out of the back and the costs of now changing it due to crap Finance lease cost is out of the question, so I want to remove the back seats, remove the double cab bulk head and fit a standard bulk head to convert into a van, is this achievable and how much work is involved, thanks in advanced for your responses.

Best regards

Darren

I did the opposite of this on a L4h3 transit. Bulk head was easy to remove and I assume easy to put back in so you shouldn't have issues there. Also I couldn't get rid of my bulkhead so had to scrap it so you shouldn't have trouble getting one off ebay.
The seats I bought for 400 from ebay so if you remove them you may get something like that back in your wallet just keep EVERYTHING you remove. Again I think here you'll be just removing bolts.
