Ford Duetto Problems

Hello, we have a 1996 Ford Duetto Campervan a great solid bus with 74000 miles on the clock. On a recent trip out the fuel pump ( Lucas Epic) started playing up and after weeks of going backwards and forwards to different garages, finally found a garage that was able to fit a second hand Bosch pump with cable and accelerator pedal. We picked her up yesterday to discover that there are no horses under the bonnet. We struggle to get her speed up to anything near what we previously achieved. The mechanic at the garage di test drive her and he feels the turbo is stuck. Can anybody give us any idea how we can get a second hand turbo for this vehicle? Apparently, they are no longer made.

I'm sure you could pick up a turbo from eBay, either secondhand or reconditioned.

Is it a 2.5 diesel as for instance I found the following

Turbocharger Turbo Charger For Ford Transit 2.5L D 4EA 4EB 4HC 4EC engine 1992, it does show it is suitable for a 1996.

Lack of power could be that the injection pump needs its fuelling turned up.
